Brothers on and off the field since 1970
Since the very first season in 1970 the bonds formed on the turf, continued to grow even after the last whistle was blown. Through four years of blood, sweat, tears, and joy, lasting friendships have formed and this website is dedicated to maintaining those ties and to keeping the Gaucho lacrosse brotherhood informed.
Four years pass all too quickly, and life takes many of us to far off, and not so far off places. Despite time and distance we recognize that the success enjoyed on the field was not by chance, but through hard work, dedication, and the support of our families, coaches, and alumni.
In 2012, in order to increase support to the UCSB Men’s Lacrosse program, an Alumni Association was formed and Board of Directors was created to direct alumni resources. This new Board is comprised of 15 former players spanning five decades. Through fundraising, recruiting, and mentoring, the Board is charged with keeping the rich and storied lacrosse legacy at UCSB alive and competitive.
We hope that you visit this page often, as there will be regular updates and events scheduled with the goal of supporting this year’s teams effort to brining home a National Title.
